Help us complete the carillon!

A full carillon will greatly enhance the bell tower's attraction for tourists. Summer concerts could be performed. Students could learn to play a real carillon. Fourteen bells have been installed, 15 bells have been purchased by donors and are on display in the Greene County Courthouse*, and donations are needed to complete the carillon so that all remaining bells can be installed.

Total project, which includes construction and installation is estimated at $500,000, including about $200,000 for 19 remaining bells. Why not buy a family bell as a permanent legacy to honor your family and extended family? If you are in a service club in Greene County, encourage your club to purchase a bell for a community betterment project. Below is a listing of the bells remaining to complete the carillon. We are happy to discuss your interest in this investment to enhance the tower, bringing tourists and shoppers to Jefferson. Contact Carole Custer, president, 515 370-0009 or custer@netins.net.
